Yesterday I finished a new cover for my lamp stand magnifying glass. It deserved it for almost nine years of unimpeachable service :-)) I could not stitch without it not only on 40ct linen, but on any linen now - my poor eyes stopped focusing long time ago and my arms are not long enough to make up a distance from me to the object :-)) Anyway, on a positive note - the cover is very serious, japanese-like, I used the scraps from Yoko Saito's fabrics left from my Grandmother's Flower garden tapestry which is in a process (joining hexagon flowers together). The background fabrics are from Halloween collection by Lynette Anderson (yes, I believe it is suitable here :-)) Now, enough words, here we are:
